XYZ Corporation to Hold Benefit for Bobby's Kids Foundation

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE - JAN. 15, 2011

Anytown, USA - XYZ Corporation will hold a charity auction on Jan. 21, 2011, with all proceeds going to Bobby's Kids Foundation, a non-profit organization benefitting the youth of Anytown, USA.

The event will take place in the gym at the Anytown YMCA, located at 456 Maple Street, in Anytown, at the corner of Elm. Items from local businesses and individuals will be up for grabs in a silent auction, and local entertainers will perform for the crowd. The public is invited to this event, for a ticket price of $10 per person, with 100 percent of ticket sales going to the foundation.

Entertainers scheduled to appear include local bands such as "Before Midnight" and "Good for Nothings," as well as performers CC the Clown and Zorak the Magnificent, a local magician. Local businesses that have already donated goods or services include: Tangles Hair Salon, Blake's Coffehouse, Sunset Cinemas, Jake's Big and Tall, and Primo Pizza. More businesses are committing daily.

"XYZ has always been committed to the community," said spokeswoman Jane Doe. "This event is proof of that."

Bobby's Kids Foundation was established in 1985, and provides after school care, tutoring, scholarships, and other outreach programs for the youth of Anytown, USA. Since its inception, the foundation has benefitted more than 10,000 youth, including being directly responsible for sending at least 500 kids to college.

XYZ Corporation was established in Anytown in 1967, and has been a huge provider of jobs to this area. It has a documented record of commitment to various charities, as well as a commitment to putting out the finest office chairs in the tri-state area. When you think of the bottom line, think of XYZ.
